The Ortega OUBJE90-MA is part of Ortega's Banjolele series, blending characteristics of a ukulele and a banjo. This concert-sized banjolele has an open-back maple body, a maple neck, and a coated Remo head for a traditional banjolele tone. It comes equipped with a passive transducer pickup system, making it suitable for both acoustic and amplified performances.

The black ABS-bound maple fretboard is paired with 18 frets and a nut width of 1.38 inches, making it comfortable for a variety of playing styles. With open gear brushed brass tuners and a satin finish, the instrument balances function and aesthetics. Designed for right-hand use, it includes G-C-E-A tuning and is packaged with a deluxe banjolele bag.
