The Kala KA-GL Mahogany Guitarlele is a unique crossover instrument combining features of the ukulele and the guitar. It has six strings and uses a hybrid tuning (A-D-G-C-E-A), making it ideal for players transitioning between guitar and ukulele or for those looking to experiment with a new sound.

Constructed from mahogany with a satin finish, the KA-GL delivers a classic and clean aesthetic. The Pau Ferro fingerboard adds durability and a smooth playing experience. With a total length of 28 inches and a 17-inch scale length, this instrument is compact and easy to carry, while its slotted tuners enhance tuning stability.

The Guitarlele is versatile enough to suit beginners and experienced musicians alike, and it fits most Kala Tenor-sized cases or bags (except the DUB2-T model). Note that an optional preamp (Kala UK-300T) is available separately for players who want added amplification and a built-in tuner.
